This highly anticipated new album is a blend of soul, hip hop, reggae and pop with a jazzy twist. Speaking from her heart, "The Awakening" is a testament to power of music and its ability to bring together musicians, culture and people, from around the globe through conscious music. It was recorded all over the map from Bob Marley's Studio in Kingston, JA (Tuff Gong), to Lilla's home town Portland, OR. It has both a contemporary and throw back sound.
